TIMON Project presented results at the 1st European Conference on Results from Road Transport research in H2020 projects

Last Monday 29th November, the University of Deusto attended to the 1st European Conference on Results from Road Transport research in H2020 projects, organized by the The European Green Vehicles Initiative (EGVI) and the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC) at the Hotel Bloom, Brussels. The target of the conference is to showcase results of selected H2020 funded projects on road transport related areas. Various technological challenges were covered in order to highlight the contribution of ongoing EU-funded research projects to meet EU policy goals. Selected projects presented their preliminary results giving the participants an overall picture of the achievements of EU-funded research.

Among the presentations, Dr. Enrique Onieva gave a presentation focused on the TIMON Project, led by the University of Deusto and with the collaboration of a consortium of 11 partners. The presentation was focused on a global vision of the project, as well as in the techniques and results obtained through the application of advanced artificial intelligence techniques to predict congestion and optimize intermodal routes.
