This research presents a management tool for a smart airport environment. Using actual data from airport resources, the application helps the managers to know how the travellers, classified in different profiles, spend their time in the airport. This information will be used to improve the quality of service from the perspective of an efficient use of infrastructures and available resources.
The Ubiquitous Computing (UC) and more recently the Ambient Intelligence (AmI) represent a new generation of user-centred computing environments and systems. These solutions aim to find new ways to obtain a better integration of information technology in everyday life devices and activities.
